Steel Frame Stone Wool Brick Slip System
The Wetherby Direct Fix Steel Frame System has been developed to allow installation of A-rated Wetherby systems to a sheathed steel frame substrate. The direct fix application allows the system to be directly mechanically fixed with adhesive (where required) removing the need for a cavity and the cavity fire-stopping behind the A1 Stone Wool insulation. Suitable for use on a variety of project types such as schools, student accommodation and high-rise reclad projects, the system has proven incredibly popular since it’s launch in 2022.
This system offers a cost-effective alternative to traditional brick façades, with an A1 fire rating to BS EN 13501-1 when paired with Wetherby Stone Wool insulation, it ensures energy efficiency, non-combustibility, and superior soundproofing.
