Wetherby SFS system, CPB, 120mm Stone Wool Insulation Directly Fixed, 1.5mm Silicone Render
Bath Court is an exciting new development situated in the heart of Birmingham City Centre to benefit from Wetherby’s Steel Frame Direct Fix External Wall Insulation System.
The new high rise sits prominently on the frontage of Bath Row and has replaced the pre-existing low rise office buildings with a new 435 bedroom high rise student accommodation.
Wetherby’s SFS System uses an A1 Stone Wool Insulation board fixed onto cement particle board and directly fixed to the steel frame with no cavity. This particular project utilised 120mm Stone Wool Insulation throughout to enhance thermal performance and provide long-term compressive strength and high impact resistance. Wetherby’s SFS system is a fully tested BBA certification which also comes without height restriction therefore was an ideal solution to this 11 storey building.
This was then finished off with Wetherby’s flexible silicone render in shade 5502B. The grey render mixed with the various shades of blue cladding profiles gives a completely unique and striking appearance.
