A housing estate of 60 mixed (apartments & terraced) properties in a highly exposed area to winds and driving rain required a robust facade system.
The chosen system comprised 100m A1 non-combustible Stone Wool Insulation to ensure energy efficiency. The client Trivallis were keen to move away from traditional dash colours and opted for black and white dash with cannon blue slips under windows.
There were existing PVC panels that needed to be stripped off, which provided an opportunity to finish with a contrasting silicone render.
Following the completed works, the finished u-value result is 0.29 w/mk2.
