🌡️ Working in the Winter months can be challenging. Make sure you are using the most suitable products and have the right equipment, and storage facilities at hand to ensure project success.
⏲️ Checking the weather forecast daily is critical when working in winter. Plan your work around dry and mild spells, avoiding the wetter and colder conditions. This will reduce the chance of wash-offs and product damage.
👍 If you’re frequently working in low temperatures, consider using systems suited to the colder weather. They’re specifically formulated for better performance in colder conditions, reducing the risk of failure during application.
💡 Traditional silicone renders are not particularly tolerant of wet/humid days as they depend on the correct conditions to cure. Mineral renders cure independently of humidity and can, therefore, be better suited to these conditions.
