Masonry A1 Stone Wool Mineral Render System
The majority of UK Stone Wool External Wall Insulation (EWI) render systems achieve an A2-s1,d0 fire rating. However, Wetherby’s innovative A1 system surpasses this, utilising a specially formulated basecoat, mesh, and Mineral Render finish to achieve the highest European fire classification, A1 according to EN 13501-1 standard.
The thermal benefits come from Wetherby A1 Stone Wool Insulation coated in Wetherby K&A A1 Scrim Adhesive. The system is completed with Wetherby Heck ED Mineral Render and Heck Silicone Paint, ensuring breathability and offering a wide range of colour options. Primarily for high-rise buildings, it’s adaptable to low-rise and non-traditional structures, catering to safety-conscious specifiers.
