One of our Wetherby colleagues, Lisa Schlechter has helped raise a tremendous amount for the Anti Malaria fund in Africa with the donation of unwanted ink cartridges.
Lisa used her initiative to source a charity that we could donate all of our old or unused ink cartridges to Cartridges4Charity, and in turn, they could purchase anti-malaria nets for the Against Malaria Foundation. Against Malaria Foundation save lives by distributing long-lasting anti-mosquito nets to prevent the spread of malaria.
This donation helped raise £416 to purchase a fantastic 277 anti-malaria nets
Since 2003 Cartridges4Charity has been helping consumers and busiesses to recycle used inkjet and empty laser cartridges, full cartridges and mobile phones to reduce our carbon footprint, and help raise funds to pass on to charities.
If you or your business would like to do the same, you can find all the details at www.cartridges4charity.co.uk. Your used ink and toner cartridges could raise up to £2.00 each, and unused cartridges up to £50, for the Against Malaria Foundation.
