Eliminating the need for a cavity and cavity fire-stopping behind the A1 Stone Wool insulation. Suitable for various projects like schools, student accommodations, and high-rise reclads, it has been popular since its 2022 launch.
Wetherby’s A1 EWI render system achieves the highest European fire classification, A1 to the BS EN 13501-1 standard. Thermal benefits come from Wetherby A1 Stone Wool Insulation coated in Wetherby K&A A1 Scrim Adhesive, ensuring strong adhesion with mineral-based components.
Finishing with Wetherby Heck ED Mineral Render and Heck Silicone Paint enhances breathability and offers a range of colors. Wetherby Mineral Render tackles is an ideal product to apply in adverse weather conditions. Its chemical reaction enables drying in damp and high humidity, independent of atmospheric conditions. The standard off-white finish can be transformed with the application of silicone paint as a final top coat, which is included within the fire classification.
