A project that has utilised extensive EWI solutions from Wetherby has been shortlisted for a prestigious Chartered Institute of Building (CIOB) award.
The scheme has been selected for the ‘Value Award’ in the CIOB’s South West Built Environment Awards. Managed by Merlin Housing Society in Cadbury Heath, Bristol, the scheme has so far upgraded over 100 properties as part of a major £2.6m refurbishment for the community.
Wetherby supplied its EpsiTherm insulation, with a mix of silicone, dry dash, brick effect and mineral render finishes being applied to ensure the exterior facade of each property complemented the neighbouring homes.
The award recognises projects that have been designed and constructed to achieve maximum benefit for residents and helped them accomplish their goals. Having already successfully reduced residents’ energy bills by up to 40%, this project clearly demonstrates the benefit to tenants.
Wetherby is proud to have helped make a real difference to so many residents in Cadbury Heath and will be eagerly awaiting the results when the awards are announced next month.
